KidEx's refund policy for booked paid classes

If your kid is not enjoying a course, it's better to discontinue the course. It's better for the kid to temporarily dislike something, rather than permanently dislike it.

Below is a list of Frequently-Asked-Questions (FAQs) related to refund policy. We are listing down the most common ones for your ease & convenience.

1. I had enrolled my kid for a course with KidEx. After a few classes, my kid is no longer interested in continuing the class as his/her interests have changed. Can I expect to get refund of fees for my kid’s unattended classes?

 

Don’t worry, this is a realistic scenario. Many a times, kids lose interest temporarily in an activity. It is important to not force them in the same as they might develop a permanent disinterest in the activity otherwise.

 

If you wish to discontinue course mid-way, you are eligible for refund as follows:

  • 2 classes out of remaining classes are non-refundable, i.e., if 10 classes are remaining, refund will be provided for 8 classes

  • Value of refund will vary by mode of refund:

    • Refund towards fees for other activities: All other classes will be refunded at 100% value (adjusted for all applicable discounts) if you wish to use the same in any other KidEx course over next 12 months (for self/your network kids)

    • Cash refund: All other classes will be refunded at 50% value (adjusted for all applicable discounts) if you wish to get cash refund

 

2. I had enrolled my kid for 3-month course for any activity with KidEx (at once). After a few classes in the first month itself, my kid is no longer interested in continuing the class as his/her interests have changed. What will be the refund of fees for my kid’s unattended classes?

 

This does not happen often but no problem, we are here to ensure you get the best deal always.

 

If you wish to discontinue course mid-way, you are eligible for refund as follows:

  • 2 classes out of remaining classes are non-refundable, i.e., if 10 classes are remaining, refund will be provided for 8 classes

  • Value of refund will vary by mode of refund:

    • Refund towards fees for other activities: All other classes will be refunded at 100% value (adjusted for all applicable discounts) if you wish to use the same in any other KidEx course over next 12 months (for self/your network kids)

    • Cash refund: If you wish to get the cash refund, all other classes will be refunded at below mentioned value (adjusted for all applicable discounts)

      • 50% value for the classes in the ongoing course (e.g. Beginner course)

      • 90% value for classes in the successive courses (e.g. Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2)

 

3. I had enrolled my kid for a 6 month course in Proton Pricing plan for an activity. After a few classes, I have realized that I would prefer my kid to move to Electron pricing plan. Is this possible? How much do I need to pay additionally for the same?

 

We have not handled such requests frequently. But we have a policy defined for the same to ensure you always get the best deal.

 

Our guidelines are as follows:

  • Early decision: If you make this decision after 2 or less classes, we charge you for the actual attended “Proton” classes only & re-do the booking for your kid in “Electron course” where you are required to pay only the difference for new booking.

  • Late decision: If you make the decision after 3 or more classes in “Proton” plan, we do not recommend changing the Pricing plan mid-course. Let the kid complete remaining classes for the month in the same batch & next month onwards, the kid can be moved to “Electron” plan. You will be required to pay only the difference between “Electron” & “Proton” plan adjusted for all discounts for change in booking for the remaining duration.

    • If you do not wish to continue the plan for the remaining month, then we will consider the request as a course discontinuation request & consider registration in “Electron” plan as a new request and let you know the difference amount to be paid.

 

4. I had enrolled my kid for a 6 month course in Electron Pricing plan for an activity. After a few classes, I have realized that I would prefer my kid to move to Proton pricing plan. Is this possible? If yes, do I get the additional pay refunded?

 

We have not handled such requests frequently. But we have a policy defined for the same to ensure you always get the best deal.

 

Our guidelines are as follows:

  • Early decision: If you make this decision after 2 or less classes, we charge you for the actual attended “Electron” classes only & re-do the booking for your kid in “Proton course” where you are eligible for refund of the difference value adjusted for all discounts for new booking.

  • Late decision: If you make the decision after 3 or more classes in “Electron” plan, we do not recommend changing the Pricing plan mid-course. Let the kid complete remaining classes for the month in the same batch & next month onwards, the kid can be moved to “Proton” plan. You will be eligible for the refund of the difference between “Electron” & “Proton” plan adjusted for all discounts for change in booking for the remaining duration.

    • If you do not wish to continue the plan for the remaining month, then we will consider the request as a course discontinuation request & consider registration in “Proton” plan as a new request and let you know the eligible refund value.

 

For the refund value, same guidelines as our refund policy (described above) will hold i.e. 100% value if  you use the value for any other KidEx course for self/your network kids and 50% value if you wish to cash out.

 

5. I had informed your team yesterday regarding cancellation/course pricing plan change. I have still not received the details of refund/additional pay out required & next steps. By when can I hear back?

6. How will I receive refunded amount?

 

The refund amount will be transferred to the same account you had used for depositing fees. E.g., if you had used credit card to deposit fees, refunded amount will be credited to the same credit card account.

 

7. When will I receive refunded amount?

It takes up to 2 weeks, from the day of receiving refund request, to receive refunded amount.

 

Within 4 to 7 days of receipt of refund request, our team will share refund working for alignment on the amount. Once finalized, we will initiate the transfer. Depending upon the mode of payment (Credit card/ debit card/Netbanking/UPI), it can take up to 7 days for the refund to get credited in your account.
